Over time, the world have created lots of remarkable constructions of classical antiquity n seven of all such have come to stand as the 7 wonders of the world or seven wonders of the ancient world, as u might want to call it. Though the 7 wonders of the ancient world might come to stand as a single list, it might interest u that more than one list were actually suggested at that time, but the wonders that make up the list of 7 today were actually the most voted for. It should be known that the list were compiled by a group of people who didn't necessarily see all parts of the world but just probably the Mediterranean region as these wonders revolves around there. If those people probably saw everywhere, they may have named the great walls of china as one of 7 wonders, the sphinx, the tower of babel...e.t.c Whatever, u might want to check on these wonders as they really prove to be great wonders. They are the Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia,Temple of Artemis, Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, Colossus of Rhodes, Lighthouse of Alexandria. Well, they serve as interesting ways to study history n checking them out aint a bad idea. I have heard of new lists been created over time by a different group of people.
